Gifts, What’s Yours?
Gifts! We all like receiving them, choosing them for others can be a problem. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? What’s the best gift you’ve ever given? When asked ‘what would you like as a Christmas gift, what do you say?’
The best gift of all time was given to all of us. God himself. In Jesus, God became human, and lived as one of us so that we could really know him, and understand him, and to save us. When Jesus was born, the wise men brought precious gifts ; the shepherds brought worship from their hearts. Today we are invited to respond to Jesus by loving him, living our lives as he taught us to, and by sharing God’s love with others.
